I dislike her very much. She forgot how to be courteous and nice to other people earlier in her modeling career or acting career, dancing career, ??? . I heard of her bullying a girl who was mortified when she was being picked on by Lovely Kerri. Kerri had posted scathing things about this girl that were not true. Its seem Ms. Kerri Taylor had not been nice to a lot of models in the Philadelphia Area. She was very two-faced and rude.
Kerri Taylor took Ms Violetta Storms under her wing. I would not take her under my arm. I'm a strict believer of fend for yourself in past and present day modeling world. I did it for the first 10 years of my career. Not that I won't give other models a list of people to work with in this area while traveling. I couldn't take another model under my arm...
Ms Storms wanted me to get her a job at a strip bar because, I bartended at one. She was talking to a friend I used to work with and me trying to get a job. We didn't have the heart to tell her that the bars would not hire her on a dayshift because, she is not pleasant to look at. Violetta became very ignorant to me. However, if she only knew what I knew I was trying to tip toe around a subject and be polite. I was hoping that the topic would go away. I wasn't going to tell the girl " She was uglier then sin " that being quoted from my boss.
Miss Violetta seemed to be forming quite an ego. I don't understand why nor do I care to understand.
When Kerri and her misfits screw up a $600 job for me by talking shit behind my back I get fucking pissed off. Not only that, What kind of producer listens to the bullshit a model says? Oh yeah I forgot Kerri is royalty ( well she thinks she is ). Royalty that was rejected from FHM, Maxim, Playboy, every magazine there is except some biker magazine. She is a B actress.
I emailed the producer 7 days before the shoot asking for the time, date and place of the shoot. I should of known then because, it seemed like I was pulling teeth to get this information. This gets better I worked with this producer before.
So, Naturally I will be shooting new pictures. I don't look my age what so ever, that will be seen in my pictures....
I will quote alot of photographers about Kerri " I don't know who the hell she thinks she is, I was disappointed in shooting with her. " That was the biggest quote I heard. There are so many other scathing quotes about Kerri. I will shut up.
All I have to say is Kerri your a bitch. Go to school, get some education, and get a part time job stripping so you can afford to live..

Geez those 2 girls really must have made a huge impact on your life for you to be sitting here writing a novel about them. I guess Kerri must be doing something right if she is getting this much attention. Also Kerri does have a degree, so learn facts before you point fingers. She chooses not to work in her field yet because she makes more money modeling. And then you say you’re going to fet life which is for fetish modeling? Well don't pic on Kerri for not getting into certain mags; Kerri is a fetish model! You are clearly trying to be one yourself. Kerri if you read this, hey you’re pretty damn popular because everyone has something to say about you! And to whoever wrote this, you may want to get a life because who seriously hates someone that much to the point where they are going to write a long blog about them? ReplyDeleteI have been friends with Kerri for almost 3 years now. She has never been anything but nice and friendly to me. I am fairly new to modeling and Kerri took me under her wing, she has helped me find work, has introduced me to some amazing and nice people and any time I need advice- whether it is for modeling or anything else in my life- I can talk to her. I consider her a close friend, she is welcome in my home any time.
I find it very surprising and a little childish, that you have this much animosity towards someone you don't even know.
How could Kerri take away work from you especially with a producer you have already worked with? I can’t see what she could have possibly said for anyone to change their mind about working with you especially someone who already knows you.
Any photographer I have worked with who has also worked with Kerri has nothing but nice things to say about her and what a true professional she is, not to mention they all rave about her being able to jump from pose to pose flawlessly. I have learned a lot from watching Kerri in action.
Um…Kerri did go to school and she has an education. I think it is quite funny that someone who works full time as a bartender would tell someone with a bachelor’s degree to get an education.
And Kerri doesn’t need a part time job stripping or doing anything else for that matter, she works hard and makes enough money being an amazing model already.
It sounds to me like you are nothing but a jealous model who feels the need to try to bash someone else in order to make herself better. Who the hell do you think you are to say such things about someone you don’t even know and have never met? Ok so maybe Kerri is a B movie actress and according to you she has never been in big magazines but I don’t see you doing anything that great either. So again, who the hell are you to cast judgment on anyone else?
If you seriously have this much time on your hands to bash another model, it may be time to get a life. Or you could be replying to casting calls instead of trying to get ahead by talking shit.

ReplyDeleteKerri and I are friends, good friends. How do I know? Besides the fact we get together from time to time for dinner, I also get all of her texts on the GWC stories she has, it is a wonderful thing to have a laugh over. I know all about her Piggies too. I feel like the Piggies Uncle.
Kerri can be misunderstood often because so many people in the industry are not professionals. Kerri is a professional. Kerri works harder each day at her job Modeling than any model I know.
She is frank and to the point. There is no doubt where she stands. She works so much she doesn't have time for the BS out of work stripper shit you are talking about. She is a model.
Now may I suggest you get into what it is about her business ethic that pisses you off and fix it. FYI she doesn't do spreads, porn, or anything like that. Yet she is very successful, hmmm how can that be if she is so bad as you say?
Put down the magnifying glass and pick up a mirror. You will see your problem and it's not Kerri.
Oh forgot one thing, you flaked on me too Jackie. Remember? You were my first flake. You popped my flake cherry. Thanks. Taught me a good lesson not to work with out of work strippers and bar tenders. You need to get your act together. Not Kerri.

ReplyDeleteI have found the more successful a model is, the more jealous haters she has. You are not the first jealous hater and you certainly won't be the last - Kerri has a LOT of haters.
If you worked half as hard as Kerri does, you'd be a lot more successful and have your own circle of jealous haters - of course they will be all the ones that are Kerri haters too so you both would have something in common.
Trashing successful models like Kerri has no effect on them or their success. It just makes you look bad.
So you and your circle of photographers and models who hate Kerri so much can trash Kerri all you want. She just laughs all the way to the bank.
oh and by the way I know the producer and another model who was at the shoot you are speaking of and the only person who lost you $600 was yourself, you gave the photographer the wrong phone number and he couldn't reach you and were half assed in your attempts to communicate with him. Kerri had nothing to do with you flaking on yet another shoot. You did it to yourself!
ReplyDeleteTara, Mike, It's funny how she talks about photographers that trash Kerri yet Kerri showed for the shoot. There are photographers I know that can't say anything about Jackie's modeling abilities because she never showed up, Jackie has the reputation of flaking.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I learned being in this industry since I was 18 (that's almost 11 years), is that blog posts like this will guarantee you a short-lived Internet modeling career. I now hire models all the time for my photography and I can guarantee you that I would never hire a model who would publicly blame another model for her financial problems. If you had an issue with a photographer passing you over for a shoot, then you should handle that privately. A blog of this nature just makes you look unprofessional. :/

I am pretty damn sure that Kerri does not struggle financially by any means. She's a damn hard worker and probably at this point has saved up at least 6-figures for being such a reliable model. Kerri is the type of person who will work until the day she died regardless of how much she has in the bank. Just be very happy that Kerri Taylor is a nice person and she doesn't decide to sue you for libel.
Lastly, I've never heard of you from any photographer or Kerri good or bad. Whomever told you that Kerri was trashing you was most likely causing drama. Getting attention like this is really not the best way to get your name out there as a new model. I might suggest issuing a public apology to do a little PR repair to whatever modeling career you might have left.
P.S. Wow, just looked you up on ModelMayhem and I am sorry for assuming you were a new model. For having 20-years experience and being your age, I would have expected a bit more professionalism, maturity, and personal responsibility. I definitely would not have thought this blog post to be by someone who was any older than 22 and educated higher than high school.

ReplyDeleteOk, I vaguely remember looking at your profile on MM a few years ago. Kerri Taylor, on the other hand, is a bona fide superstar. I haven't had the pleasure of working with her yet but we've been in communcation and I've gotten very strong recommendations from other photographers about her. She's very high on the "want to" list.
Public trashing of another person, however, is grounds for permanent removal from the list.
Honestly, though, the unwarrented trashing of Kerri is only the start of your problems. If you expect anybody to take you seriously, you need to march back to your elementary school and demand they give you the education you apparently missed the first time around.
Here, I'll help. "Your" and "you're" are not interchangable. "A lot" is two words, not one. "Whatsoever" is one word, not three. Commas are your friend; learn to use them. Finally, question marks are used to finish questions and only one is to be used. You lumped three of them together at the end of a poorly structured statement -- ironically, immediately after a comma.
However, you earned extra credit for using the word "nor" correctly so I'll add that in and score this essay a D minus. See? You're not a complete failure after all!

I've worked with Kerri. Nice lady, professional, courteous, never had any issues with her. But that's just me. Well, okay...me and other producers and models I'm friends with who have worked with her as well. I've always heard of positive and at times, overwhelmingly positive experiences concerning her.

ReplyDeleteYes Jackie, I did shoot with you back in Feb, 2006. You did a good job for me, I won't deny that. But then it all went downhill from there. A few months later, we had scheduled a second shoot. You, me, and the chap who ran bondageworkshop.com
You never showed, never called, never emailed. I spoke to Roy at Hidden Agenda, and he didn't hear from you. Not for several months, almost a year. I finally heard back from you more than a year later asking for work...but nothing came of it.
And now, nothing will. I've worked nearly a dozen times with both Kerri and Violetta, and both of them have never, ever missed a shoot. Sometimes they arrive late, and when they do, they call ahead. They show up ready to work and when they work, they give a great effort.
And if Violetta is ugly, why do I get requests for custom shoots with her? She has fans, a bunch of them. I haven't shot with her in a few years mostly due to scheduling issues, but that's changing later this year.
I also consider Kerri and Violetta to be friends of mine in this industry, and I have recommended them to other folks without hesitation. After the disappearing act you pulled, I never recommended you to anyone else, ever.
As for you, Jackie, you won't be back in my studio again. I suggest that if you want to figure out why you may have lost out on a shoot, be it for $6, $60 or $600, that you take a look in the mirror and do a little soul searching. It'll do you some good.
These types of posts do noone any favors. By defaming another professional you actually make yourself look unprofessional, so it backfires.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I know, the majority of photographers don't listen to what a model says about another model. If they do, they take it with a grain of salt, because it's the references from the photographers who have actually worked with the model that count. Public posts like this will always be seen as one sided and vicious when done to wrongly defame a person's character, with the intent of ruining the person's reputation. It's mean and unprofessional.
I know Kerri and I can say she's one of the nicest people I've met. I hate bitchiness and this is a common occurrence in this modeling industry, but Kerri is a genuinely nice person who has worked hard to earn her excellent reputation and she's not bitchy. If she had mentioned you in a negative way, I would've heard about it.
If you had initially reached out to Kerri in a positive way I have no doubts she would've reciprocated.
We have to take responsibility for our own actions. You can't blame your own personal hardships on another person who is not involved.
Kerri Taylor didn't do anything or did Violetta. The issued is with me and her. I am the photographer. Violetta try to fix what happen as did I and Kerri Taylor was not involved. I will not bad mouth anybody but I wanted to stick up for Kerri and Violetta.

You act like you are 41, going on 14. Sure, blame it on someone else...it's easier that way.
When you go from Model Mayhem to Fet-Life, what you'll find is that the people are the same. I think you'll also find that this "vent" of yours will hurt you more than you might think. As the above post indicates, the PHOTOGRAPHER stated that neither Kerri, nor Violetta, did anything wrong. He should know best.
